Port Jersey Logistics was established in 1954 and operates in New Jersey, Georgia, and Oregon. With a rich history spanning over seven decades, Port Jersey Logistics stands as a seasoned logistics solutions provider. Their dedicated team excels in solving intricate logistical challenges, with a primary focus on public and dedicated warehousing, along with transportation brokerage services.
Currently, Port Jersey employs over 175 professionals, and due to their rapid growth, the executive team, led by President Jeff Ramela, recognized the need for an effective operating system to streamline the business. Jeff and his team were well-acquainted with Traction and were highly impressed by the concepts outlined in the book.
In January 2022, Jeff and the leadership team at Port Jersey began collaborating with Marc Dispensa to implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Initially adopted by the top executive team, EOS principles have now permeated at least two levels deep within the organization. This widespread integration ensures that all team members adhere to the same principles during their respective L10 meetings, leading to a remarkable level of consistency across the entire company.
According to Jeff, the most significant achievement since implementing EOS has been the enhanced role clarity within the organization. The use of the accountability chart has helped delineate roles and responsibilities among the team, driving their growth and success.
